Getting Started

Use this guide to move from plugin activation to a first functional storefront page in Elementor.

Prerequisites​

  • WordPress site with admin access
  • Elementor installed and activated
  • Vendure backend endpoint and channel token

1) Install and Activate​

  1. Install the plugin package in WordPress.
  2. Activate Haus Storefront Elementor Widgets from the plugins screen.
  3. Confirm the Haus Storefront admin menu appears.

2) Configure Core Storefront Settings​

In Haus Storefront > Advanced:

  • Set your Vendure API URL
  • Set your default channel token
  • Save changes

In Haus Storefront > Theme:

  • Configure storefront styling defaults
  • Save to apply shared style variables used by widgets

3) Add Widgets in Elementor​

  1. Open a page with Elementor.
  2. Search for the Haus Storefront widget category.
  3. Drag required widgets (for example Product List, Filters, Cart, Checkout).
  4. Configure widget controls and publish.

4) Validate Your Setup​

Use this checklist after initial setup:

  • Widget renders on frontend
  • Product data loads from backend
  • Add-to-cart works
  • Cart totals update
  • Checkout blocks mount correctly
